Sensei O Fujii - Kyoshi - 7th Dan Kendo, 5th Dan Iaido

Fujii sensei has been teaching kendo since 1967 both in the UK and rest of the world. 

He is one of the most respected teachers in the UK. 

He is a founder member of the British Kendo Association, European Kendo Federation, and International Kendo Federation.

Due to his untiring effort and dedication he has been made a lifetime member of the British Kendo Association.

Sensei David Ansell Kyoshi - 7th Dan Iaido - Shidoin - 3rd Dan Kendo

Ansell sensei started Martial arts training at the age of fifteen. He originally learned various styles including Kyukoshinkai 2nd Dan Shotokan 2nd Dan, Wu Shu Kwan 1st Dan

He started Practising Kendo in 1980 under Sensei Victor Cook 7th Dan Kyoshi his other teachers include Kancho Sadataro Ishido 8th Dan and Shizafumi Ishido 8th Dan Kyoshi. David was awarded his 5th Dan in 1993. In 1994 David was invited to join the Dai Nippon Butokukai (DNBK), In 2000 he was awarded his 6th Dan and in 2002 David was granted the title of Kyoshi. In 2008 he was awarded his 7th Dan. He is currently the highest graded, non Japanese, in the DNBK. teaching Iaido.

David also holds the title of official iaido co-ordinator for the DNBK.(Shidoin)

In his many years of practice, David has trained and taught in various countries including, Japan, America, Portugal, Belgium and Israel.
